Before you start
- HubSpot account with admin or super admin role
- Sales Hub Professional or higher (for full Deals access)
- List of HubSpot pipelines you want Floo to write into
Step 1. Authorise Floo
In the Floo dashboard, open Integrations, then HubSpot, then Connect. The OAuth popup opens. Sign in with the HubSpot user that has the right pipeline access and approve the scopes Floo requests.
Scopes Floo asks for: crm.objects.contacts.read/write, crm.objects.deals.read/write, calls.read/write, crm.schemas.contacts.read.
Step 2. Map your pipelines
After OAuth, Floo lists your HubSpot pipelines and stages. For each outbound campaign or agent, pick a pipeline and choose which stages map to qualified, disqualified, and booked outcomes.
Step 3. Set the disposition taxonomy
- Each call ends with a disposition code (12 built ins, plus your custom ones)
- Map each disposition to a HubSpot deal stage or activity outcome
- Floo writes the call as a HubSpot Engagement with the transcript URL attached
- If the disposition maps to a stage move, the deal advances automatically
What ships in HubSpot
- Call activity with two sentence summary and transcript link
- Sentiment score on a custom property (set up automatically)
- Action items as HubSpot tasks assigned to the deal owner
- Compliance flags on a separate custom property (TCPA, HIPAA, mini-Miranda)
Use HubSpot Workflows to react to Floo's writes. A common pattern: when sentiment drops below -0.3, auto-create a CS task. When disposition is Booked, send a confirmation email.
Two way: HubSpot to Floo
Floo pulls lead lists from HubSpot at the start of a campaign. Static lists work best. Smart lists are supported but evaluated only at campaign launch, not in real time.
