Voice tiers explained

Floo bundles speech-to-text + LLM + text-to-speech into four locked tiers at round per-minute prices. One click swaps the entire stack on any agent.

Most tiers use Deepgram Nova-3 for speech-to-text; Floo Max upgrades to Deepgram Flux for model-native turn-taking. The differences are in the STT, LLM, and voice provider — each combo is benchmarked for a specific kind of call.

Can I mix and match providers?

Yes. The tiers are presets — power users can swap individual providers under Advanced on any agent. The price badge then reads Custom · $X/min and Floo calculates the rate from each provider's metered cost plus a small platform fee. Tiers are usually cheaper because we've pre-negotiated volume rates.

Switching tiers

Change tiers on any agent at any time — the new rate kicks in on the next call. Existing calls finish at the rate they started. There's no minimum commitment, no migration, no downtime.
